Art Deco technical design card (66) Czech vintage glass bead coin brass filigree earrings

Sample card (66) Art Deco 1920's Czech vintage earrings. This card is part of a collection from a jewelry design and manufacturing company which was based in Jablonec, Czechoslovakia. The sample cards were used to show potential buyers the range of designs available. Each had a unique selection of earrings, the cards all with hand drawn grids and catalogue numbers. Over time they will have become annotated with finer details such as metal types and stones to be used.

This card has a selection including geometric and floral, coin and glass bead earrings, all press stamped in various metals, with filigree wirework or beaded. Several are set with rhinestones and some are glass beaded. The earrings are generally in excellent condition, several have areas of oxidation, some are missing stones and a few are a little bent out of shape. There are some highly ornate designs on this card and complex use of mixed materials. Some rare glass bead types have been used.

This is a rare collectable sample card, perfect for a private collection, jewelry design school or to be framed and made into wall art for jewelry retailers or manufacturers.
