Antique Czech rare intaglio reverse hand painted flower vase bouquet crystal art glass cabochon with black japanned reverse finish. In good condition with some loss of the black japanning and some surface blemishes.
This style of stunning cabochon bead was made for the fine statement jewelry design market, often found in earrings, pendants, bracelets and cameo pin brooches. With a flat back, suitable for gluing into bezel settings, onto flat back bails or even directly on to fabric.
