Wonderful vintage original Czech Bohemian Zelezny Brod School of Art glass hand lampworked doctor figurine. In typical ZBS style with individual lampworked sections of glass. With a stamped ZBS imprinted mark on the base.
This design is attributed to a design by Professor Jaroslav Brychta, regarded as one of the most influential glass designers of the 20th Century.
Železnobrodské figurines are highly respected worldwide for their artistic ingenuity and the skill required to model them.
Origin: N. Bohemia / Czech circa 1960's
